“Terdwalai Farm” The word Terdwalai comes from Terdpong, the son’s name, and Walailak, the daughter’s name. These were the names that my father Winai and mother Pannee jokingly named when they started buying land since we were young and started growing fruits. My father loved nature and was kind enough to buy fruit seedlings to plant. At first, we intended to plant them for ourselves and share with our relatives. Later, my father gradually bought more land. Then, Suan Terdwalai became an income for our family. We started by harvesting longans and mangoes according to the season. Our produce is of very good quality because the land is near the Ping River and the weather is not too hot. Therefore, the produce grown in Suan Terdwalai’s land is of very good quality. However, the price of longans and mangoes keeps getting lower and lower because there is too much supply. So, my father bought longan and lime seedlings until the fourth year when we started harvesting. The price was good, but we did not have the skills to sell and did not sell to the right source. We have to thank Rimping for the good opportunity that contacted us to sell. In Chiang Mai, this is the first time that Suan Terdwalai has launched the Suan Terdwalai brand in Moderntrade. Currently, our customers are Rimping, Tops, Gourmet, which are leading Moderntrade in Thailand. We have also expanded our customers to food processing factories that require raw materials with certificates. We also develop for export and develop products to meet the needs of people’s lifestyles today, whether it be saving time in the kitchen or emphasizing food that is healthy to eat.
